Debby Faulkner-Stevens

The six new miniatures for the RMS exhibition are all finished and just awaiting frames, my online exhibition is up and running, our granddaughter is back at school,

our grandson is all ready for his first day next week and it would appear Somebody Up There has noticed that I have a little bit more time on my hands at present and, to make sure I am not caught slacking, has sent me a nice big pile of work out of the blue.
After a short hiatus I am back illustrating new chapters of the third in the Kit The Mouse series of books – publication in February 2017 I’m told! – and as well as two rather enjoyable commissions for a private client, B and W Thornton in Stratford upon Avon have commissioned me to produce several pieces in watercolour on paper featuring exotic animals – lions, tigers, leopards etc which will be a challenge. Somewhere in the middle of all this, we are sneaking off for a – very – short break in Suffolk. Much needed, especially by Alan, and greatly looked forward to.
I am longing to start on some new projects, and rattle on with the collaboration with my friend, but have no idea how I can fit it all in. Never mind. We are very lucky to be busy and constantly looking forward although sometimes I would like time to freeze for a week or two so we could catch up with it all .....
